The project was assigned to us by the college C programming department. We had to submit this as a semester-end report and also we did not know much about backtracking algorithm. So, it helped us. And we are looking forward to doing more projects like this and since OOP will be started in the next semester, we are really excited.
The reason we chose a sudoko solver is that most of the other project ideas were not that convincing to us and while management systems were on the table, we wanted to try something new and challenging.
